What to expect on this tour

  • Arrive at Roatan International Airport - Juan Manuel Galvez. Breathe the tranquil Caribbean breeze once you exit your plane.

    Ariana – Your dedicated tour host - will be there to greet you and take care of you throughout the 7-day journey.

    Private transportation will pick you up and take you to our Bitcoin Center – where you will experience delicious & traditional island food prepared by locals with a special Pirate welcome drink.

    Get to know fellow Bitcoiners on the trip and tour our Bitcoin center. Take a 5-minute drive on private transportation to your hotelThe Roatan Yacht Club- where you will check into your room and get accommodated. Bask in the relaxing ambiance with Pirate themed twist.

    The famous hotel also features a Marina where you can go for a walk, a pool, bar, and restaurant completely surrounded by beautiful plants and trees.

    Prepare to enjoy a breathtaking sunset at Las Verandas, where you can swim in the infinity pool, bask in the relaxing Caribbean breeze and enjoy a poolside or oceanfront dinner & drinks - such as local beer, freshly made jugo de sandia, & more. .

  • Start your day with a monkey and sloth encounter!

    Visit AJ’s Monkey and Sloths where you will have the opportunity to hug and feed these adorable creatures and learn interesting facts about these animals.

    You’ll even get to hold a magnificent Scarlet Macaw parrot and feed them!

    We will take a ride to the beautiful and underdeveloped east side of the island while appreciating the impeccable views and the beauty this side of the island has to offer – it will make you feel like you’re in a movie.

    We will visit the first Czech Village on the island of Roatan and have lunch and a cold beer to cool down at the first restaurant to accept Bitcoin on the Caribbean Island of Roatan – Trico’s Bar & Restaurant. Have lunch at an oceanside restaurant with incredible views.

    Then we go to visit Paya Bay - a beach on the east side of Roatan with turquoise waters.

    You will sink your toes in the white sand. Inside Paya Bay you will also find the ONLY nudist beach on the island hidden away in its own private section - away from the public.

  • Start your day with breakfast at the hotel.

    Private Transportation will pick you up at the hotel and take you to the East end where you will start your Pirate Cave tour at Port Royal. Enjoy a boat ride to the most beautiful side of Island rich in Pirate history.

    Rumors and mystery abounds when we start speaking of pirate treasure – especially around Port Royal, Roatan. During the 17th century, Port Royal was home to over 2000 pirates, with some 500 houses, even a church. Discover caves & enjoy a delicious lunch prepared by pirate descendants. Listen to stories and rumors about Pirates told by locals.

    Snorkle in crystal clear waters while enjoying the marine life on Roatan. Learn local traditions and “old time” beliefs.

  • We will start our day exploring the special economic zone of Próspera, a unique development in Roatan.

    You will take a guided tour to learn about innovative projects, business opportunities, why Próspera was created and their housing complex – Duna Residences – You can buy your own top view apartment for bitcoin which will be available soon.

    We will have lunch at Próspera which will be prepared special for us by locals!

    After lunch, we will embark on a snorkeling experience in the crystal-clear waters of Roatan's reefs – Roatan is home to vibrant coral reefs, making it a paradise for underwater enthusiasts.

    When snorkeling you’ll find various fish such as Yellowtail Snappers, Caribbean Blue Tang (like in finding Dory!), Barracudas and more. Bask in the sun, play beach volleyball, enjoy a leisurely swim, or simply relax with a book on the white sand at Bitcoin Beach.

    Sing the night away with some karaoke and drinks at the famous Blue Marlin in the West End.

  • Start your day by taking a ride to the famous West Bay where you’ll have a stop at the lighthouse and enjoy the famous Coco Loco & Guifiti - a traditional island drink. Visit Roatan Rum Company and sample their artisan rum and cakes.

    Stop at Gumbalimba park - This beachfront park offers not only the water activities and leisure of the beach and ocean, but also diverse attractions in over 20 lovely acres. There's a treasure to be found here for everyone in the family (and who knows, maybe some pirate treasure, too)! Cross on a suspended bridge of 237 feet long over a small lagoon, visiting various animals in their natural state.

    Enjoy the beautiful and relaxing beaches in West Bay where you can drink coconut water straight from a coconut, taste local delicacies such as fresh seafood, plantains, and coconut-infused dishes. Let your taste buds be delighted by the unique blend of Caribbean and Central American flavors before enjoying a Catamaran sunset cruise where you can witness the sky ablaze with hues of orange and pink as the sun dips below the horizon.

    Sip on refreshing cocktails (it's an open bar!) and let the soothing ocean breeze transport you into a state of pure relaxation with a Bitcoin ambiance.

  • Start your last day by enjoying your last delicious Caribbean style breakfast at the hotel.

    Prepare to leave the island. Take a last swim in the pool. Take a last walk around the hotel and the marina. After that, we will take you to Roatan’s International airport.

    You will depart the island with memories and a state of relaxation after enjoying time on this Bitcoin Paradise also known as Roatan!

  • The climate of Roatan is tropical, hot and humid, though constant sea breezes keep the island’s average temperature between 23°C and 32°C. (75°F and 90°F).

  • Roatan is in the Central Time zone (GMT-6)

  • We recommend packing as light as possible. Comfortable clothing and shoes.

  • A valid passport is necessary to enter and exit the Country. All visitors traveling to Honduras will need to have a passport valid for at least 6 months past the date of travel. A Visa is not required.

  • Spanish is the official language of Honduras but you’ll find that English is spoken throughout Roatan as native islanders speak mostly English as well as many people speaking languages from all over the world: French, German, Italian, and more. We also have a huge Czech community in Roatan.

  • Sunscreen (try to avoid DEET if you are going in the water), sunglasses and a hat are needed most of the year because the sun is hot and strong. Insect repellent is also needed mainly for beaches where sand flies are found and sometimes at night.
